Spring and….brrrrrr!!! A bit on the chilly side today, but thankfully the sun is shining.
Another exciting month ahead and one of my aims is ‘not to slip on the anti slip bathmat and not to trip over the anti slip bathmat’!!! ( I am on the look out for alternatives so , any ideas we may all have will be greatly appreciated!!!!)
So, here we go….
Thought I would do a quick round up of some of the awareness days going on this month. They can all be found here, but here is a quick list for you…
Bowel Cancer Awareness Month every April
International IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) Awareness Month
PSP Magnolia Day – Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association
April 15
MS Week April 25 @ 12:00 AM – May 1 @ 11:55 PM
More information for each health awareness campaign can be found by clicking the links to various sites for each cause.
I’m sure there are many more not listed here, so please let me know and I can add them on.
Of course any training days or care shows etc can also be added along with any individual organised event.
Every little helps to get awareness and the training available for everyone.
Regular updates will continue to appear on our own job board. You are all invited to place your own ads, free, for any care needs required or if you are a careworker available please do pop an ad on.
( Don’t panic if they don’t appear straight away…I personally check them out first before they are placed).
Each day, you can also view care related news gathered from ‘tinternet!
Looking For Carers Daily is a nice little place to read through (when you get a chance) with a cuppa!
It is updated once a day, and can cover a lot of interesting articles, news, stories, and inspiration.
So, lets see what April brings us, and I wish you all well.
Thank you, for being you.
